RBI Grade B Officer (DR)- DSIM recruitment is done along with other officers of RBI Grade ‘B’ level for which the complete selection process is defined below. The candidates are selected for respective post via defined process. There are 3 papers of different types which have to be cleared to get recruited into RBI.

- Paper 1 will contain MCQs.
- Paper 1 will be a qualifying test for Paper 2 & Paper 3.
- Paper 2 will be displayed on computer and the answers have to be marked on answer sheet
- Paper 3 has to be typed on computer itself
RBI Grade B Officer (DR)- DSIM Syllabus 2019
The details of each paper are given below.
Statistics: The questions will be asked from Masters’ level degree of any Central University in India. The questions will be asked from core topics of statistics and so the candidates are advised to study and prepare well for the exam.
Paper 1: Probability, standard distribution, sample theory, analysis of variance, estimation, hypotheses, multivariate analysis, stochastic process
Paper 2: Probability & Sampling, linear models and economic statistics, statistical inference, non- parametric test, stochastic process, multivariate analysis, numerical analysis, basic computer techniques
Paper 3: Essay writing, precis writing, comprehension passages will be part of exam.
Followed by written exam, there will be Interview round and the final selection of candidates will be made combined from Written exam scores and Interview scores.
