RBI Officers in Grade B (DR)- DEPR exam will be conducted for which the candidates need to prepare for each selection process. This is a 3 tier process i.e. each candidate has to clear 3 phases before he/ she gets selected for the post into RBI. This stream of officers are selected to undertake economic analysis and research to next level. Also, these officers will contribute well to policy formulation.

- Paper 1 will be a qualifying test for Paper 2 & Paper 3.

The details of each paper are given below.
Economics: The questions will be asked from Economics Masters’ level degree of any Central University in India. The questions will be asked from core topics of economics and so the candidates are advised to study and prepare well for the exam.
English: The questions will be asked from Grammar section i.e. noun, verb, adjective, adverb, narration, voice, phrasal verbs etc. More from vocabulary section will be from synonyms, antonyms and word meanings. Essay writing, precis writing, comprehension passages will be part of exam.
Followed by written exam, there will be Interview round and the final selection of candidates will be made combined from Written exam scores and Interview scores.
