RBI grade B Officers (General) Exam is being conducted to select the candidates which are best for the post. The selection criteria for RBI Grade ‘B’ officers is- Phase I, Phase II & Interview. The candidates need to pass through these phases to get selected in RBI for this post.

For Phase 2-
Paper 1: Growth & Development, Measurement of growth, Poverty Alleviation & Employment Generation in India, Sustainable Development, Environmental issues, Economic Reforms in India, Labour Policy, Monetary & Fiscal Policy, Privatization, Role of Economic Planning, Globalization, Balance of Payments, Export-Import Policy, IMF & World Bank, WTO, Regional Economic Co-operation, Social Structure in India, Multiculturalism, Positive Discrimination in favor of the under privileged, Social Movements, Indian Political System, Human Development, Health and Education
Paper 2: The questions will be asked from writing skills in exam- comprehension passages, essay writing etc. will be questioned referring common topics.
Paper 3: Finance will include the topics-
Regulators of banks a& financial institutions, RBI function and conduct of monetary policy, financial institutions (SIDBI, NABARD, NHB), financial markets (primary & secondary), risk management, derivatives, changing landscape, recent developments in financial sector, financial inclusion, cost benefits, corporate goverance, union budget, inflation
