Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Multi- Tasking Staff (Non-Technical) MTS 2021 recruitment exam in Different States and Union Territories is being conducted to select the best candidates for the post. SSC MTS 2021 Syllabus & Exam Pattern is being detailed below as per which the candidates can prepare themselves for the exam. There are several topics which have to be studied for a review from best sources of study. To beat the competition level, it is essential to prepare well for the exam.

Total Number of Papers will be 2 (Paper I & Paper II)
Exam Type: Objective & Conventional (SSC MTS Paper I Will be Objective, and SSC MTS Paper II Will be conventional)

Subjects Included with Marks: Paper 1 (Objective): General Intelligence & Reasoning (25), Numerical Aptitude (25), General English (25), General Awareness (25), in total 100 Marks

Time: 1.5 Hours (90) Minutes for each candidate & 30 minutes extra (Total 2 Hours) are given to visually handicapped candidates.
NOTE: 0.25 marks are deducted for each incorrect answer
For Part-A, B, D Questions will be set both in English & Hindi.

SSC MTS 2021 Selection Procedure
The Paper I will consist of Computer Based Exam and Paper II will be of descriptive type. Only candidates who will pass the cut off from paper 1 will only be allowed to give Paper II.
SSC MTS 2021 Exam Syllabus
The details of all the topics included in the exam are-
English: Grammar topics- Verbs, Nouns, Adjectives, Proverbs, idioms, Speech, Narration. Vocabulary section- Word Meanings, Antonyms, Synonyms. Also, comprehension passages may be asked in the exam
General Awareness: It includes the questions from different segments like economic, political, social issues of society, all new things which are happening, new developments and transformations, scientific aspects, Sports, History, Culture, Geography, books, authors, etc. The questions are asked in a general manner.
Numerical Aptitude: Number Systems, LCM & HCF, Decimals, Fractions, Averages, Percentages, Ratio & Proportion, Simple & Compound Interest, Profit & Loss, Discount, Time & Distance, Time & Work, Probability, Permutation & Combination, Problems on trains, Tables & Graphs
General Intelligence: Missing patterns, Similarities & differences, odd man series, problem-solving, analysis, visual memory, blood relationships, statements & conclusions, figure classification, decision making, tables & figures, coding & decoding, etc.
The exam paper either will be set in English or Hindi and in other as mentioned in VIII schedule of the constitution to test the candidate’s basic knowledge about the language & if he/she will be able to communicate in that. All the candidates need to write a story or a short essay.
