Ferozpur Cantonment Board Lower Division Clerks (LDCs) Syllabus & Pattern for the exam is provided below which is the foremost step for the FCB LDC Exam Preparation. After the exam, the Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) of 120 marks is conducted along with interview.

General Awareness:  The questions are asked to check the present state of mind of the candidate. The questions will be asked from the topics-

General Intelligence & Reasoning: In this section, both verbal & non Verbal type questions are asked from the candidates. The questions are asked from following-

  • Relationships
  • Figural classification
  • Coding and decoding
  • Statement conclusion
  • Number Series & Figural Series

Numerical Aptitude: The questions are asked based on the numerical part of the exam which includes the questions from the basic class 10th syllabus. Study the following topics for examination.

  • Fractions
  • Percentage
  • Ratio & proportion
  • Square roots
  • Averages
  • Profit and Loss
  • Mixture and Alligation

English Language: Basic language is being tested of each candidate and so it is important to solve the questions of following type-

  • Spelling/detecting mis-spelt words

  • improvement of sentences
  • active/passive voice of verbs

In Computer Proficiency test, the knowledge of computers is tested which includes the questions from-

MS- Word, MS- Excel, MS- Powerpoint, Use of Internet, E-mail usage and some other basics.

In interview, the candidates are shortlisted based on aggregate of Computer Proficiency Test and Written Test. It total carries 40 marks. The questions are all generalised to test the knowledge of candidate.
