Gujarat- city of Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel is the renowned city of India. This city is referred as “Jewel of Western India”. The city is located just beneath Rajasthan and just above Maharashtra. The city lies on Kathiawar peninsula and also borders Pakistan’s Sindh district. Along with this, Arabian sea flows on one side of state and on other end it also borders Diu, Daman, Dadra & Nagar Haveli Union territories. Sabarmati river is the largest one which flows in the state followed by Tapi river.
The most common language spoken in the state is Gujarati. The most known place of Gujarat is Rann of Kutch which is located in Thar Desert in Sindh and Gujarat. The capital city of Gujarat is Gandhinagar which is the well planned city of the state. Other major cities of the state are- Ahmedabad, Surat, Rajkot, Jamnagar, Veraval, Junagadh, Vadodara etc.
There are several tourist attractions in the state. Several religious places and museums have been the places of tourism.
