Each topic of different sections are-
General Intelligence Test: Basic questions will be asked which include relationships, similarities & differences, missing patterns, odd man series, statement & conclusions, figure classification etc.
General Knowledge: Current events of India & World level, history, geography, cultural events of society, scientific researches, important dates & events, social issues etc. The questions are asked in a way to test the awareness about the surroundings and society.
General Hindi: Grammar section which includes- noun, verb, pronoun, idioms, proverbs, subject verb agreement, voice, narration, gender, number etc. Vocabulary section which includes meanings, antonyms, synonyms etc.
Regarding the chosen trade, the questions are asked in the exam. The candidates who all apply for the exam need to prepare the basics from the respective domain.
There are several types of books available in market to prepare the various topics. The candidates can prepare accordingly for each section.

UPSSSC Tracer Exam Pattern 2020
The details of the exam are-
- Exam Type: Objective
- Total Marks: 180 (1 mark question)
- Total Time: 2:30 Hours
- Subjects Included: General Hindi (40), General Intelligence Test (40), GK (40), Trade Related Questions (60)
Followed by exam, is an interview of 20 marks conducted for each qualified candidate.
