UKPSC Assistant Regional/Divisional Inspector Syllabus & Pattern

Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) exam for Assistant Regional/Divisional Inspector (ARI) (Technical) in Transport Department is being conducted for the eligible candidates in which they see the questions from transport field. The exam is highly competitive and so it is necessary to prepare in a well manner for the exam. UKPSC ARI Exam Pattern & Syllabus details will be helpful to prepare for the exam. The selection procedure of the exam is mentioned below-

UKPSC ARI Paper Scheme: The selection procedure for the post consists of 3 steps-

Written Exam of 150 Marks followed by Practical Exam of 100 Marks and an interview round of 35 marks

The details of each round of selection are provided as per which the preparations can be done for the exam by the candidates.

UKPSC ARI Paper Pattern: In Written Exam, there are 2 papers-

Paper- I of 50 marks (2 Hours) and Paper- II of 100 marks (3 Hours)

In Practical Exam, there will be certain levels of test which include-

  1. Driving test (Before- 10 marks, During- 20 marks and After precautions- 10 marks)
  2. Assembling components- 40 marks
  3. Viva round- 20 marks

In Interview round, there will be PI of 35 marks only for those who clarify the written test & practical exam paper. The selection of candidates depends on the way the answers are given.

UKPSC ARI Syllabus: For Written exam,

Paper I– The questions in the exam will be related to Motor Vehicle Act, Motor Vehicle Manuals of Uttar Pradesh, Highway Code

Paper II– The questions will be based on mechanism of petrol and diesel locomotives, Service and model routine testing, Service of motor transport vehicles, road safety issues
