Exam Type: Objective cum Descriptive type
Total Papers: 3
- Paper-1 will include:- General studies-100 marks-1.00hr
- Paper-2 will include:-Engineering subject-1 -200 marks-3.00hr
- Paper-3 will include:-Engineering subject-2 -200 marks-3.00hr
NOTE: 1 mark is deducted for each wrong answer. There is no negative marking for objective questions.
TPSC Junior Engineer Exam Syllabus: The details of each topics of exam is given below-
General Studies: Comprehension -20 marks, correction-10 marks, Vocabulary (synonyms & antonyms, idioms & phrases)-10 marks, General knowledge-20 marks, Current Affairs- 20 marks, Mental Ability- 20 marks
General Knowledge: Current Affairs, Railways, Political news, Economic news, Sports, History, Important Dates, Geography, Social issues. The questions are based on the topics which relate to general sense.
Current Affairs: Political, Social and Economic issues which are ongoing on recent basis. The surroundings and the recent happenings are asked in the exam.
Mental Ability: Questions on mental understanding just to see your caliber.
