Sikkim Public Service Commission (PSC) Under Secretary Mains Examination is conducted for the selection of the candidates in the junior Grade of Sikkim State Civil Services. The exam pattern & syllabus is given below and it can be followed by the candidates to prepare well for the exam.
Sikkim PSC Under Secretary Main Exam Pattern- The compulsory Subjects are-
- Current Affairs & analytical Ability
- General English
The each paper will be of 100 marks and the total time given will be 1:30 Hours for the paper.
There are 2 optional Subjects each of 300 marks. The total time allotted for each optional paper is 3 Hours.
Followed by the examinations, Viva Voce will also be conducted in which the interviewer will ask the questions based on general questions.
Sikkim PSC Under Secretary Main Exam Syllabus-
Current Affairs & Analytical Ability- General Knowledge of all the ongoing events, issues in political world, national level pilot schemes and projects, Basic computer applications, logical reasoning, Sikkim socio economic perspectives.
General English- Comprehension, Grammar, Essay writing
Optional Subjects questions will depend on the subject choosen by the candidate. There has to be focus on the subjects opted and the applicants need to make it a point to study well for the exam paper.
Being a highly competitive examination, it has great value and so the preparations have to be done in the best possible way for the examinations.
