Sikkim Public Service Commission (SPSC) Preliminary exam for Accounts Officer in the Sikkim Finance and Accounts Service is being held in which the applicants need to pass to go to next selection round. SPSC Prelims Accounts Officer Exam pattern- A written exam (objective type) is being conducted which will be of 300 marks and total time awarded will be 3 Hours. The subjects included in the syllabus will be-
- General English- 50 marks
- General Knowledge- 100 marks
- Mathematics, Economics, Business Studies, Accounting, Computer Applications- 150 Marks
SPSC Prelims Accounts Officer Exam Syllabus:
General English- Questions will be covered from the topics- Verbs, Nouns, Adverbs, Adjectives, Phrasal verbs, Idioms, Voice (Active & Passive), Narration (Direct & Indirect), sentence completion and all basic topics
General Knowledge- Questions will be covered from the topics of current affairs of India & World which comprises ongoing events, important dates etc. Also, the questions are asked from social, economic, geographical aspects that are of mere importance. From Political world, the questions are asked from Constitution, Political System, Rights & Issues, Panchayati Raj, Public Policy.
Mathematics- This section will involve the questions from very basic topics such as- Numbers, LCM & HCF, Ratios & proportions, Statistics, Permutation, Combinations, Problems on Trains, Mixtures, Time & Work etc.
Economics- Demographics, Inclusive growth, Social Sector initiatives, Sustainable Development, Poverty
Computer Applications- The questions are asked from MS Office which will include- MS Word, MS Powerpoint, MS Excel. Also, the questions can be asked from Internet services, E-Mail services and some basic questions on computers
In the exam, the questions are also asked from General issues on Environmental Ecology, Bio-diversity and Climate Change, Basic Concept of Banking & Economics, General Knowledge on Sikkim. Prepare well for the exam and get nice score to crack the exam.
