Syllabus For SBI Junior Associates Clerk 2019 Preliminary + Mains
SBI recruitment notice is being out for posts of Junior Associates (Costumer Support & Sales) & Junior Agricultural Associates in Clerical Cadre. SBI Junior Associate Clerk Exam Pattern & Syllabus is being described for each level of selection. The selection plan for the post includes- Preliminary Exam, Mains Exam, Interview.
SBI Junior Associates Exam Syllabus 2019
General English: Grammar (noun, verb, adjective, pronoun, adverb, idioms, proverb, subject verb agreement), vocabulary (meaning, antonym, synonym), comprehension passages followed by their questions
General/ Financial Awareness: The questions are based on surroundings’ matters like- Current Events of India & world, important dates & events, political science, economy, history & geography, Banking, Science & Technology, Sports, Culture, Books, religion, language etc.
Reasoning: Both verbal & non- verbal reasoning questions are part of exam- missing pattern, odd man series, arithmetic reasoning, blood relations, coding & decoding, statement- conclusions, seating arrangements, venn diagrams etc.
Computers: History of computer, generation of computer, basic devices of computer, MS office (Excel, Word, Access, Powerpoint), LAN & WAN, Memory orientation etc.
Quantitative Aptitude: HCF & LCM, number system, ratio & proportion, boats & stream, mixture & allegation, problem on trains, time & work, time & distance, probability, permutation & combination, binomial theorem, tables & graphs, simple & compound interest, profit & loss, discount etc.

Preliminary
The details of each are-
- Total Questions: 100
- Total Marks: 100
- Total Time: 1 Hour (20 minutes for each section)
- Subjects Included: English (30), Numerical Ability (35) and Reasoning (35)
Main
The details of each are-
- Total Questions: 190
- Total Marks: 200
- Total Time: 2:40 Hour

NOTE: 0.25 marks are deducted for each wrong answer in exam.
Followed by Preliminary & Mains exam, the candidates can be evaluated for local language in case they don’t have 10th or 12th class marksheets.
In interview round, the questions will be asked based on some financial, agriculture and basic interests of the candidate.

The syllabus for Quantitative Aptitude is described above. It is included in both Preliminary & Mains exam but the level of difficulty is different.
