SBI Clerk 2019 Exam Syllabus & Pattern is being described below as per which the candidates need to prepare well for the exam. General English- The basic questions will be asked from language- verbs, noun, adjective, adverb, idioms, proverb, subject-verb agreement, one-word substitution, speech, narration, parts of speech, sentence formation, etc. From vocabulary end, word meanings, synonyms, and antonyms are asked in the exam. Comprehension passages followed by questions based on it are asked in the exam.

Quantitative Aptitude- Number system, LCM & HCF, Averages, profit & loss, simple & compound interest, boats & streams, problems on trains, mixtures & alligations, percentages, probability, permutation & combination, binomial theorem, decimals, discount, graphs & charts

General Awareness- The questions will be asked from current events which are happening all over the globe, social, economic, political aspects of India, latest happenings, important dates & events of different events, scientific research, etc.

Reasoning- The questions are asked from both verbal & non- oral part- Number series, odd man series, arithmetical reasoning, missing pattern, blood relations, coding & decoding, statement & conclusion, etc.

Computer Knowledge- Basic questions based on computers will be asked in an exam- Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Access, Excel), usage of email and internet, networking basic concepts, etc.

From marketing aptitude, some basic questions can be asked in an exam to ensure the skills of the candidate.

The details of the exam are-

• Type- Objective
• Total Marks- 200
• Total Time- 2 Hours 15 minutes

NOTE: There will be negative marking in the exam- one-fourth marks will be deducted for each wrong answer
