Mathematics- The questions in the exam will be from the topics- Number systems, Proportions, Interest (Simple & Compound) , Averages, Profit & loss, Graphs, Charts, Mensuration, Time problems with work and distance, Partnerships, Percentages, Decimals and fractions, Permutation & combinations

General Knowledge- The syllabus of the General knowledge includes the questions from- Current affairs, international and national events, freedom struggle, general polity, constitution of India, general Science, Sports events, cultural news

English- Articles, tenses, Verbs, Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence comprehension, Unseen packages, vocabulary based questions

Odia- Based on the concepts of regional language which include- Shabda Pada, Kriya Bheda, Mishra o Samyukta Vakya, Vakya Rupantara, Swara Sandhi, Alankara, Samasa, Rudhi o Lokabami, Padhinathiba Gandyansha

Odisha Postal Service MTS Exam Pattern 2019

The details of the exam paper are-

There are 4 sections of the exam paper which will have the questions subject wise-

• General Knowledge
• Mathematics
• English
• Odia language

Each section is of 25 marks in the exam paper.

Time Allotted: 2 Hours

Passing criteria: 40 % for OBC, 33% for SC/ ST, 37% for OBC

In the examination, the candidates are free to answer as many questions they can as there is no negative marking in the exam paper.

Read the topics well so as to answer all the questions of the exam paper. The recruitment of the candidates will be dependent on the performance they show in the exam paper. So, read all the section syllabus well and make a schedule to prepare well for exam.
