The topics to be covered in each section-
Reasoning: The questions will be asked from topics- Coding and de-coding, Arithmetic reasoning, syllogistic reasoning, Statement & Conclusions, Seating Arrangements, Venn Diagrams, Number Series. Both verbal & non- verbal reasoning questions will be covered in exam
General Science: In this, the questions are asked from basic science such as Water, Soil, Air, Light, Force, Work, Energy, Power, Acids, Bases, Salts, Organic Compounds, Reproduction, Plants, Flowers etc. The basics of Physics, Chemistry & Biology are covered in the exam.
General English: The questions will be asked from basic grammar- noun, verb, adjective, adverb, adjectives, determiners, pronouns, tenses, speech, voice, vocabulary, synonyms and anotnyms, reading passages followed by the answers
Fire Fighting: Knowledge of fire fighting, how it is operated, fire fighting equipments, life saving drills and fire controlling techniques.
Mathematics: The questions will be asked from topics- HCF & LCM, Percentage, Profit & Loss, Simple & Compound Interest, Time & Work, Area, Volumes, Time & Speed, Investment, Simplification, Averages
General Knowledge: As expected to be a part of navy, the candidate must have the awareness of the surroundings, current affairs of national & international importance, important dates & events, historical; social; economic; political issues can be raised as questions in written exam.
