MP Vyapam Syllabus For Jail Prahari 2019 Exam Pattern Selection Procedure

MP Vyapam Jail Department Recruitment Test 2019 is conducted for different posts-

Physical Training Instructor, Teacher/ Assistant Teacher, Sewing Instructor, Watchman (Prahari), Weaving Instructor, Male Nurse, Carpentry Instructor, Foremen Press

For above posts, Written exam will be conducted followed by interview round but for Prahari Post it is written exam followed by PET & PST.

• Total Questions: 200
• Total marks: 200
• Total Time: 3 Hours
• Subjects Included: General Knowledge, Hindi , English, Maths , Science (Each section 40 marks)

MP Vyapam Jail Prahari Syllabus 2019

General Knowledge: In respect to Madhya Pradesh the questions will be asked from- History, Geography, social, economic, political, wildlife, irrigation, tourism, novels, authors etc. The questions can be asked from scientific aspects- new developments and inventions and all above mentioned topics are asked from India level also.

Hindi/ English: The questions will be asked to test the candidate’s ability in language- Grammar (Verbs, Nouns, idioms, Phrasal verbs, One word substitution, speech, narration, different types of sentences), Vocabulary (Word meanings, synonyms, antonyms), Comprehension passages

Mathematics: Number system, Averages, Simplification, decimals, time & work, time & distance, ratios & proportions, Simple & Compound Interest, Problem On Ages, bars & charts, probability, algebra, trigonometry, profit & loss etc.

Science: The basic concepts will be asked in exam from all sections like-

1. Physics: Standard measurements (Weight, mass, volume), refection, refraction, transparency, law of motion, gravitation
2. Chemistry: Chemical reaction, acids, bases, salt, metals & non-metals, Chemistry in everyday life etc.
3. Biology: Human body structure, diseases and their symptoms, structures etc.

MP Vyapam Jail Prahari Physical Standard Test 2019

The candidate should be medically fit- no flat foot, proper eye sight and other requirements are-

Height: For males- 165 cms, For Women- 158 cms

Chest: For males- 83 cms

For Physical Efficiency Test (PET)- It is important for candidates to qualify in this test.

Race 800 meteres: For Male- 2 min 50 sec, Female- 4 min, Ex-servicemen & Home guard-3 min 15 sec

Shotput: For Male- 20 feet (weight 7.260 kg), Female- 16 feet (weight 4 kg), Ex-servicemen & Home guard- 15 feet (weight 7.260 kg)
