Minor Irrigation Department, Uttar Pradesh recruitment for Assistant Boring Technician Group C is being done through a defined selection procedure. Minor Irrigation Assistant Technician Exam Pattern: A written exam will be conducted in which the exam type will be objective i.e. multiple choice questions.

Mathematics: In this paper, the syllabus comprises of the questions from 10th class level. In this, Arithmetical &Numerical Abilities are tested and the questions are covered from topics- Simple & Compound Interest, Number Systems, Simplification, Decimals, Ratio & Proportion, Percentage, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Tables & Graphs, Average, Profit & Loss, Discount, Problems on trains, statistics.

General Knowledge: In this section, both current & historical based questions are asked. Current will include the ongoing events in India & world, all new scientific developments, new events, important issues across Uttar Pradesh state.

In historical terms the questions are asked from History, Geography and Socio Economic issues, Modern History (From 1857 onwards) of India, Indian culture, Indian Polity, Indian Economy, important dates & events of past

Professional Knowledge: The questions will be asked as per the trade selected by the candidate. These are so as to test the knowledge of the candidate. Irrigation related trade questions are put across to check eligibility of candidate.
