Kolkata Police (Male+Lady) Constable Syllabus 2019 Exam Pattern

Kolkata Police Recruitment Board (KPRB) recruitment for Constable and Lady Constable will be done with a proper selection criteria which includes the Physical Measurement Test (PMT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Written Test, Interview, Medical Exam, Verification of Character and Training. The details of each selection criteria can be checked from below and the candidates can prepare for the exam accordingly. You need to medically, physically and practically fit to achieve nice score in exam.

Physical Measurement Test (PMT):

Kolkata Police Constable Syllabus:

GK: From respect to India, History, Geography, economic, political science, scientific aspects, important dates of events, current affairs of India and World will be asked.

English: Grammar section including verb, noun, adjective, adverb, subject verb agreement, idioms, proverbs, phrases etc. Vocabulary section includes antonyms, synonyms and word meanings and comprehension passages followed by questions based on it.

Mathematics: Number system, LCM & HCF, ratio & proportions, Averages, simplification, decimals, Profit & Loss, Simple & Compound interest, mensuration, time & work, time & distance, tables & graphs, probability, permutation & combination, problem on trains etc.

Reasoning: Verbal & Non- verbal type: Missing pattern, odd man series, relationships, venn diagrams, analogies, similarities & differences, pattern matching, figure matching, coding & decoding etc.
