JSSC Graduate Standard Preliminary & Mains Exam Pattern: The details of the exam are-
- Exam Type: Objective
- Total Questions: 150 (3 marks each)
- Total Time: 2 Hours
- Preliminary Exam Subjects Included with no. of questions: General Knowledge (40), General Science (20), Mathematics (20), Mental Ability Test (20), Computer Knowledge (20), Jharkhand state (30)
- Mains Exam Subjects Included with no. of questions: Hindi (75), English (75), General Knowledge (150)
NOTE: Negative marking of 1 mark each will be done.
JSSC Graduate Standard Exam Syllabus:
General Knowledge: The questions will be asked from current events of India & World importance, important dates & events, knowledge of history; geography; political issues of India, economic issues of India, culture, arts, books, scripts, capital & states, currency, sports, agriculture, natural resources etc.
General Science: This section will include the topics which happen every day in India, new scientific happenings, upcoming inventions and projects relating to India.
Mathematics: Number system, Fractions, Simplification, Arithmetic, algebra, areas & volumes, geometry, trigonometry, mensuration, probability, statistics
Mental Ability Test: Analogies, blood relations, similarities & differences, analysis, judgment, decision making, discrimination, visual memory, observation, odd man series, coding & decoding, problem solving, relationship concepts, figural classification, missing pattern.
Computer Knowledge: MS Windows, MS Office, knowledge of Internet & email, basics of computer
Jharkhand State: The knowledge of Jharkhand state will be tested, the questions asked will be from history, geography, culture, arts, language, literature, minerals, industry etc.
Hindi/ English: The questions will be asked from comprehension passages which may be unseen.
