IOF LDC Durwan MTS Recruitment Exam Syllabus & Pattern With All Detailed Topics

Indian Ordnance Factories Recruitment for Posts-

  • Lower Division Clerk
  • Civilian Motor Driver
  • Multi- Tasking Staff
  • Durwan

An examination is conducted for the above posts for which the exam syllabus & pattern is given below. The following topics have to be studied for the exam. The candidates who all clear the exam are suitable for recruitment only.

For Post name- Lower Division Clerk (LDC)

Exam Pattern- 2 hours paper which includes the subjects:

  • General intelligence
  • English language
  • Quantitative Aptitude
  • General Awareness

Each subject will carry 50 marks in the exam paper.

Followed by exam, typing test is also conducted for the Lower Division Clerk post.

For Post name- Civilian Motor Driver

  • General Intelligence- 40 Marks
  • General English- 10 Marks
  • General Driving Awareness- 50 Marks

All 1 mark questions will be present in the exam. After the written test, 100 marks skill test will eb conducted.

For Post name- Multi tasking Staff

  • General Intelligence & reasoning- 25 Marks
  • Numerical Aptitude- 25 Marks
  • General English- 50 Marks
  • General Awareness- 50 Marks

For Post name- Durwan

  • General intelligence- 25 Marks
  • General Awareness- 50 Marks
  • English- 50 Marks
  • Numerical/ Quantitative Aptitude- 25 Marks

Exam Syllabus: The syllabus is mentioned subject wise and as per the post name, the topics can be studied correspondingly.

General intelligence: Semantic Analogy, Number analogy, number series, symbolic operations, unfolding, critical thinking, coding & decoding, figural classification, problem solving, word building, space orientation, critical thinking, venn diagrams

English Language: Direct/ indirect narration, miss- spelt words, idioms and phrases, one word substitution, comprehension passage, shuffling of sentences, antonyms, synonyms, fill in the blanks, active/ passive voice

Quantitative Aptitude: Number systems, percentages, ratios & proportions, profit & loss, discount, time & work, time & distance, mixtures & Allegations, geometry, trigonometry concepts, statistical charts, mensuration

General Awareness: Society related things, history, culture, Economic of India, Scientific Research, current affairs of national and international events, science related questions, everyday observations

Typing test: Based on English & Hindi language and 30 words per minute have to be typed on computer. The candidates will be Judged on accuracy of text passage in 10minutes. For visually handicapped candidates with 40% visually disability will be provided passage directors.

General Driving Awareness: Questions based on traffic rules, vehicles, maintenance, repair etc.

Skill Test: The ones who qualify the written test can give this test. The test will be almost similar to the one taken while appointing driving license.

Prepare the exam syllabus in the proper way and give the exam in best way.
