Syllabus For HP Police Constable 2019 HIMPOL Full Selection Criteria

Exams are being organised by Himachal Pradesh Police Department (HIMPOL) for hiring Constable (Male & Female). Aspirants those who are interested should pay attention towards the given information and should prepare well for exam as to fulfil out their dreams. Below we have provided the HP Police Constable Exam syllabus and exam pattern.

Selection Process is as follows:

2. Physical Efficiency Test
3. Written Test
4. Personality Test
5. Medical Examination
6. Verification of Character & antecedents

Marks according to height (males):

• Height Less than 5’7 will be 0 marks
• Height 5’7 -5’8 will be 1 marks
• Height 5’8 -5’9 will be 2marks
• Height 5’9 -5’10  will be 3 marks
• Height 5’10 -5’11 will be 4 marks
• Height 5’11” and above will be 5 marks

Marks according to height (females):

• Height less than5’2 will be 0 marks
• Height 5’2 -5’3 will be 1 marks
• Height 5’3 -5’4 will be 2 marks
• Height 5’4 -5’5 will be 3 marks
• Height 5’5 -5’6 will be 4 marks
• Height 5’6 and above will be 5 marks

HIMPOL Exam Syllabus 2019

General Awareness (16 questions): Questions on Modern History of India, Indian culture, Indian Polity, Indian Economy, Geography of India, Current events of National and International level, Geography and Socio Economic development of Himachal Pradesh and India, History.

Reasoning Aptitude (16 questions): Verbal & Non- Reasoning questions like problem solving, relationship, similarities & differences, arithmetical computation, blood relations, Venn diagrams, table problems, coding & decoding, statement & conclusion etc.

Hindi & English Languages (16+16 questions): Phrases and Idiomatic use of Words, fill in the blanks using verbs, articles, preposition, Vocabulary, Spellings, Sentence Structure, Synonyms, Grammar, Error recognition, Antonyms, Sentence Completion etc.

Personality Test (15 marks): The candidates will be tested based on general questions. Privilege will be given to candidates with certificate NCC(A) and NCC(B) for which  3 & 2 marks will be given respectively.

Math & Science (16 questions): Number system, LCM & HCF, Square & Cube roots, Simplification, Fractions, Time & Distance, Profit & Loss, Ratio & Proportion, Percentage, Average, Discount, Simple & Compound Interest, Menstruation, Time & Work, probability, tables & graphs, basics of physics, chemistry & biology will be asked in exam.

HIMPOL Exam Pattern 2019

1. Questions will be multiple choice objective type.
2. Question paper will be of total 80 marks.
3. Every aspirants will be given 1:00 hours duration.

NOTE: Exam will be of 10+2 standard except Mathematics.
