Haryana Postal Circle Postman & MTS Syllabus With Paper Scheme

Haryana Postal Circle Postman Multi- tasking Staff (MTS) paper is being conducted so as to select the best candidates for the exam from the large number of applicants. Haryana Postal Department MTS & postman exam scheme is mentioned below as per which the candidates can get an idea on how the paper will be set up. Syllabus of Haryana Postal Circle will include the topics which are related to the field.

Haryana Postal Circle Exam Pattern: Multiple Choice Questions or objective type paper is the scheduled scheme for the exam which will constitute the topics-

  1. General Knowledge, Reasoning, Analytical Ability
  2. Mathematics
  3. English
  4. Hindi

Total Marks: 100 (i.e. 25 Marks from each section)

Total Time Allotted: 2 Hours

NOTE: There will be no negative marking

Selection Criteria (Cut Off percentage)-

  • Unreserved- 40% marks
  • OBC- 37%
  • SC/ ST- 33%

Haryana Postal Circle Postman & MTS Exam Syllabus: As above mentioned subjects, the syllabus for them respectively is-

General Knowledge- The questions will be asked from the general topics such as- Current affairs of national & international importance, scientific inventions which are latest, important dates & events which are of historic nature or may be current, political/ social/ economic development issues of India & world

Mathematics- The questions will be asked from simple topics such as- Number system, Decimals, LCM & HCF, Probability, Statistics, Time & Speed, Fractions, Time & Work, Distance, Simplification, Whole Numbers, Profit & Loss, Partnership, Ratios & proportions, Simple & Compound Interest, Averages, Discount, Tables & graphs

Reasoning- The questions will be of verbal & non- verbal type which will contain the questions on Missing patterns, odd man series, pattern matching, figure classification, completing series, table figures, coding & decoding etc.

English & Hindi- The questions will be asked from the regional language to ensure that the candidates know it for communication. The questions will be based on verbs, adverbs, adjectives, nouns, vocabulary, prepositions, conjuctions etc. Also, there will be a comprehension passage under which the questions are asked and are to be answered based on passage.
