Assam PSC Combined Competitive Exam syllabus 2019 is given below with detailed selection procedure so that you have no problem in understanding the topics which will be part of exam. Preliminary Exam

The list of objective subjects is part of notification provided by Assam PSC and it contains-

Agriculture, Geography, Anthropology, Geology, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Sciences, Botany, Law, Chemical Engineering, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Medical Science, Commerce, Philosophy, Sociology, Electronics, Statistics, Fishery Science, Zoology

Mains Exam

Total Time 3 hours for each section
Total Marks 1400
Subjects Included (Marks) Paper 1- General English (300)

Paper 2- General Studies (300)

Paper 3- Optional Subjects (2 Papers each of 200 marks & 3 hours duration)

Paper 4- Optional Subjects (2 Papers each of 200 marks & 3 hours duration)

The optional subjects are same as mentioned above and the candidates needs to select 2 optional subjects out of the list.

Assam PSC Combined Competitive/ Junior Grade Exam Syllabus 2019

General Studies: The questions will be asked from current events, important dates, history, geography, political science, culture, science, books, culture, railways, sports etc. The questions will be asked from different sectors and surroundings. All the updates from India and World are asked in exam.

General English: The questions will be asked from grammar topics- Noun, verb, adjective, adverb, phrasal verb, adjectives, conjuctions, subject predicate, idioms, narration, voice, phrases etc. Vocabulary related questions- word meanings, antonyms and synonyms are asked in exam and comprehension passages will be given in exam based on which several questions will be asked.

APSC Combined Competitive/ Junior Grade Viva Voce

Followed by written exam is a viva voce round of 200 marks.
