General Knowledge: There is no such syllabus of GK but there are few topics which you can prepare & for that you need study topics like Geography, History and Socio Economic development of Assam. Candidate should have knowledge of current events going on National and International importance & must read little science observation which is used in day to day life. Lao do not forget to read about Indian Culture, History, Politics, Famous Personalities, Sports, Indian Economy and Geography of India.

Aptitude/General Intelligence:  Well from this section questions will be asked from 10th Standard. The questions can also be put up from topics like analogues, space visualization, judgment, decision making, visual memory, similarities and differences, relationship concept, figure classification, arithmetical number series, discrimination observation, problem solving, analysis, verbal and non-verbal series.

Physics : Universe, General Scientific Laws, Units, Force, Motion and Energy, Electricity and Magnetism, Electronics & Communications, Solid State Physics, Heat, Scientific Instruments, Inventions And Discoveries, National Scientific Laboratories, Science Glossary, Spectroscopy, Atomic and Nuclear Physics, Mechanics And Properties Of Matter, Physical Quantities, Standards, Light and Sound Geophysics, Astronomy and Space Science.

Mathematics: Simplification, Decimals, Discount, H.C.F, Ratio & Proportion, Mensuration, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Tables & Graphs, Fractions, L.C.M, Percentage, Average, Simple & Compound Interest, Profit & Loss,.

Chemistry: Elements and Compounds, Fertilizers, Insecticides-Biochemistry and Biotechnology, Electrochemistry, Polymers and Plastics, Acids, Bases and Salts, Oxidation and Reduction, Chemistry of Ores and Metals, Carbon, Nitrogen and Their Compounds, Pesticides.

English : Spot the Error, Fill in the Blanks, Synonyms/Homonyms, Cloze Passage, Antonyms, Improvement of Sentences, Active/Passive Voice of Verbs, One word substitution, Comprehension Passage, Conversion into Direct/Indirect narration, Shuffling of Sentence parts, Shuffling of Sentences in a passage, Spellings/Detecting wrong-spelt words, Idioms & Phrases.

General Knowledge: History, Geography and Socio Economic development of Himachal Pradesh. Knowledge of current events of National and International importance and such matters of every day observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person who has not made a special study of any scientific subject. Paper will also include questions on Modern History (From 1857 onwards) of India, Indian culture, Indian Polity, Indian Economy, Geography of India.
