Indian Post AP Circle Postman & Mailguard Syllabus Paper Pattern

India Postal Department Andhra Pradesh Circle Postman Mailguard Exam Pattern & Syllabus is being detailed below which can be referred for the preparation of the examination. The applicants need to ensure that they study the each section clearly so as to know the basics of each. AP Postal Circle Exam Scheme & Course is mentioned which has to be prepared properly. The exam is not a tough paper, but requires a little effort to study for it.

AP Postal Circle Exam Pattern: A written exam (objective type) will be seen which will contain the following sections-

  • General Knowledge, Reasoning, Analytical Ability
  • Mathematics
  • English
  • Telugu

From each section, 25 marks paper will come and total time allotted for the exam is 2 Hours.

NOTE: There will be no negative marking

Cut Off Criteria- Unreserved: 40% marks; OBC: 37%; SC/ ST: 33%

Syllabus of AP Postal Circle Exam: The syllabus for the exam will constitute the topics-

General Knowledge- The questions will be asked from the general topics such as- Current affairs of national & international importance, scientific inventions which are latest, important dates & events which are of historic nature or may be current, political/ social/ economic development issues of India & world

Mathematics- The questions will be asked from simple topics such as- Number system, LCM & HCF, Probability, Statistics, Time & Speed, Time & Work, Distance, Simplification, Whole Numbers, Profit & Loss, Partnership, Ratios & proportions, Simple & Compound Interest, Averages, Discount

Reasoning- The questions will be of verbal & non- verbal type which will contain the questions on Missing patterns, odd man series, pattern matching, figure classification, completing series, table figures, coding & decoding etc.

English & Telugu- The questions will be asked from the regional language to ensure that the candidates know it for communication. The questions will be based on verbs, adverbs, adjectives, nouns, vocabulary, prepositions, conjuctions etc.

  1. HI IM KARUNA FROM B’LORE. I PAID TO TO EXAM. ACTUALLY ONE DOUBT, TER IS TELUGU LANG FOR EXAM. ON THE TIME OF EXAM, THE QUESTIONS IN TELUGU WILL BE GIVEN AS SUBTILE IN ENGLISH.PLSSS HELP ME TO KNW.
