Syllabus For AIPMT 2020 Entrance Exam Pattern- Physics,Chemistry,Biology

All India Pre- Medical/ Pre- Dental Entrance Test is being organized for the admissions into the MBBS & BDS Courses. AIPMT Exam Pattern & Syllabus is being described below as per which the candidates can prepare well for the exam. Syllabus for AIPMT exam will include the topics from Physics, Chemistry & Biology. For AIPMT 2020 exam syllabus has to be prepared for the exam well.

AIPMT Exam Pattern: The written exam will be of objective type which will include the questions from-

• Physics
• Chemistry
• Botany
• Zoology

Total Time: 3 Hours

Total Questions: 180 (Approx- 45 Questions from each section)

NOTE: There is a provision for the candidates to attempt the paper in any language- Hindi or English

AIPMT Exam Syllabus 2020

As per the sections of exam, the questions will be based on following topics-

For PHYSICS, the questions will be based on the chapters which were covered in both class 11^th and 12^th.

Class XI- Physical World & measurement, kinematics, oscillation and waves, kinetic energy, laws of motion, work; energy & power, thermodynamics, properties of bulk matter, gravitation, rigid body concept

Class XII- Electrostatics, Current Electricity, Electronic devices, atoms & nuclei, magnetic effects, electromagnetic induction, electromagnetic waves, optics, dual nature of matter & radiation

For CHEMISTRY, the topics which will be included are-

Class XI- Structure of Atom, Environmental Chemistry, Classification of elements, Chemical bonding, molecular structure, hydrocarbons, organic chemistry, p- block elements, s- block elements, hydrogen, redox reactions, equilibrium, thermodynamics, states of matter

Class XII- Solid state, solutions, electrochemistry, polymers, chemistry in everyday life, biomolecules, organic chemistry (aldehydes, ketones, carboxylic acid, haloalkanes, haloarenes, alcohols, phenols, ethers), p; d; f block elements, surface chemistry, chemical kinetics, isolation of elements

For BIOLOGY, the questions will be asked on the topics-

Class XI- Diversity in living world, cell structure, plant physiology, human physiology, organization of structure in animals & plants

Class XII- Reproduction, Ecology & environment, biotechnology, biology & human welfare, genetics & evolution
